Dr. Petroc Willey, Professor of Catechetics at Franciscan University of Steubenville, reflects on the origin and meaning of the word “pedagogy” and describes three ways in which the presentation of doctrine in the Catechism follows the model of God’s pedagogy in his talk entitled “The Catechism Enshrines the Pedagogy of God.” Dr. Willey’s talk was part of the Speaking the Truth in Love Conference, sponsored by the Catechetical Institute at Franciscan University of Steubenville.
