10 Day Pilgrimage
Spend ten days on a Catholic Pilgrimage to Medjugorje & Dubrovnik. Begin with six days in the peaceful village of Medjugorje, located in Bosnia & Herzegovina. This is the site of the 1981 Marian Apparitions. On June 24, 1981 six children witnessed the Blessed Virgin Mary on what is now known as Apparition Hill. The apparition had a message of peace for the world, as well as a call to conversion, prayer and fasting. Medjugorje was the inspiration for the foundation of 206 Tours, and we have been sending Pilgrims there since 1985. In 2018 Pope Francis appointed Archbishop Henryk Hoser the “Apostolic Visitor” to Medjugorje and on May 13, 2019 the Holy See officially announced that Dioceses and Parishes throughout the world are now authorized to organized Pilgrimages to Medjugorje. To date, over 40 million people have visited this now popular Pilgrimage site. Complete your Pilgrimage with two days in the stunning “Pearl of the Adriatic”, Dubrovnik.
Experience the holy sites of:
Apparition Hill • Cross Mountain • St. Blaise Church • Franciscan and Dominican Monasteries

Fr. Shawn Roberson TOR is the University Chaplain at Franciscan University of Steubenville. He's been at the University for 12 years, he has had an incredible time working alongside young people so rooted in the Love of the Lord and Our Lady. He says, "I could not be more excited to be with you on this trip! This will be my eighth time traveling to Medjugorje since 1993. It is a very special place that is so alive with the Grace of God and love of Our Lady. It will be a time where you will receive gifts of grace and peace by knowing the Blessed Mother’s love in a very personal and special way."
Why should you go on a Catholic pilgrimage?
Our lives can become very busy. That busyness can overwhelm us, and often times, we need to intentionally set aside time to quiet our hearts and turn our attention to God.
On a Catholic pilgrimage, you will not only experience a silence and atmosphere helpful for prayer, but you will travel in community, guided by spiritual leaders and supported by fellow pilgrims.
We invite you to join the Franciscan University community as we embark on a pilgrimage of faith!
