Guadalupe Pilgrimage

with Heather Khym and Fr. Dave Pivonka, TOR ’89

On this five-day Catholic pilgrimage, you will bask in the beauty of the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe, at the foot of the hill where Our Lady appeared to Saint Juan Diego. Celebrate Mass and pray at one of the holiest sites in the Western Hemisphere! Visit other sites in Mexico City like the tomb of Blessed Miguel Pro, and see the extraordinary Mesoamerican pyramids in the city of San Juan Teotihuacan. You will also spend a day in beautiful Puebla to see the incorrupt body of Blessed Sebastian of Aparicio, Santo Domingo Church, and local markets famous for their colorful pottery. Our lives can become very busy. That busyness can overwhelm us, and often times, we need to intentionally set aside time to quiet our hearts and turn our attention to God.

On a Catholic pilgrimage, you will not only experience a silence and atmosphere helpful for prayer, but you will travel in community, guided by spiritual leaders and supported by fellow pilgrims.

We invite you to join the Franciscan University community as we embark on a pilgrimage of faith!
